Anzac

Three kilometres from Morvillers-Saint-Saturnin, near Aumale, the Digeon flower garden stretches over 2.5 hectares around the XIXth century castle and its outbuildings. The park is planted with ancient trees and flower beds. The rose garden, behind the farm, displays a beautiful collection of modern varieties, and a few old species.

A botanical path, created in a spinney, has been planted with wild perennials from Picardy, which are best appreciated in spring when they are in bloom. It is also the best season to admire the shrubs in full bloom and the new foliage on the maples.

In summer, the lake and waterfall cool the atmosphere.

Backing onto the park, the vegetable garden is also very pleasant: surrounded with box tree borders, vegetables alternate with perennials and shrubs.

A large bed of irises, 3 beds of hydrangeas and one of hostas, with different colours and shapes, interesting both for their scapes and for their foliage.
